Photography
The photography assignment was meant to communicate something for a Virginia Tech-oriented organization of our choice. While working with a partner, we photographed images inside and outside of class.
My partner Claire and I chose Virginia Tech Undergraduate Admissions and decided to promote one of the popular landmarks on campus for “Tour Stop Tuesday”. The landmarks showcased are the Pylons.

Each pylon represents a core value of Virginia Tech, including brotherhood, Ut Prosim, leadership, loyalty, service, sacrifice, honor, and duty. Virginia Tech alumni who have died in the line of duty get their names engraved on the pylon that best embodies them. In the center, we have the Cenotaph, dedicated to the Virginia Tech alumni who have received the Medal of Honor.
